Onwards To Spring

Yesterday's Omiya Earthquake fundraising event was a great success with about $3000 being raised and donated to the Japan Red Cross.

Thanks to Mark Cratchley, Morena and all the musicians for their efforts. About 100 copies of "Broken Hearts" were distributed during the event. It was good to jam with Jonathan Bojarzin, from Canada, who in addition to playing a fine solo set of music also, played great harmonica during my second set. Thanks Jon - hopefully we can jam together again!

I hope to during April get back into rehearsal with Kazuhiko Hotta (Bass), Takashi Nakajima (Drums and Percussion) and Robert Collins (Keyboards) soon!

November, December – January……February 2011- Happy New Year!

Hello again, after a quiet time on the site. November and December was busy with various band rehearsals, low key solo performances and songwriting taking place. I have enough songs now for a new set of recordings to occur throughout 2011. December brings travel to El Salvador, Australia and Thailand. Jose is due to go to the UK in April, so sadly we shall be losing his inspiration and talent. A new “Terry Christian Band” has been actively rehearsing (Kazuhiko Hotta on bass and Takashi Nakajima on drums/percussion). We hope to add a keyboard player in January. Performances are expected in March/April. So watch this space for further news. “Believe the bad is ending soon and love will come your way!”
